About the Conference
USA Risk Group celebrates its 5th Annual Executive Educational Conference at a new venue, the Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge in Charlotte, NC. This year’s program focuses on “Learning the A.R.T. of Captive Insurance”. The alternative risk transfer marketplace has grown so much over the past decade that it really isn’t just an “alternative” anymore. Our gallery of topics will include all the classic sessions covering actuarial sciences, the reinsurance marketplace, the investment environment, claims handling, domiciles, the NAIC and the ever-popular tax montage. We also include some more contemporary sessions covering agency captives, SAS 70, warranty coverages and wealth transfer mechanisms (831(b)s). The conference will close in the main gallery with a town hall discussion between all the speakers and participants on topics of interest to the group.
